Tight security at R Premadasa stadium in view of Sri lanka, Pakistan match
Sri Lankan Cricket Board decided to tighten security measures for the fourth One Day International match of the five match series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka after Sunday night's clash during the third ODI at the R. Premadasa Stadium.
The spectators are advised to refrain from carrying Hooters, Liquor, Glass Bottles, Sharp Objects, Lighters and Match Boxes into the stadium.
The Board said any unruly behavior by any spectator will be severely dealt with and may even be subject to eviction from the grounds.
Police media spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that spectators will be thoroughly checked before entering the grounds.
Pakistan, leading the five-match series 2-1 against Sri Lanka, is aiming for a series win at today's decisive match at the R. Premadasa Stadium.
Captain Anjelo Mathews addressing a media briefing held yesterday stated that they hope to perform well in all 3 departments.
