Saha's streaky fifty sees India through to lunch

The first session of day two was like the session in which Dinesh Chandimal took the Galle Test away from India, except that it was a more sedate version.

Wriddhiman Saha and Amit Mishra enjoyed all the luck - ball hitting the off stump without removing the bail, ordinary pictures reprieving Saha, what seemed like a catch at the wicket not given, edges falling short of or flying over fielders - but they didn't run away with the game, batting with caution as India added 69 for the loss of two wickets in another hard-fought session of Test cricket.

Indians were on 380 runs for the loss of 8 wickets at lunch.
