Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi became the leading wicket-taker in T20 Internationals, beating countryman Saeed Ajmal's record for most wickets in the shortest format of the game.

Leg-spinner Afridi, who took three for 15 in his four overs during the second T20 against England, took his tally to 86 wickets in as many matches to go past Ajaml's 85 wickets in 64 matches.

Afridi retired from one-day internationals after Pakistan's quarter-final exit at the 2015 ICC World Cup Down Under, while he bid goodbye to Tests in 2010.
