Sri Lanka Twenty20 skipper Lasith Malinga has hinted at a possible retirement from T20s.
Malinga marked his comeback to competitive cricket after close to three months yesterday with a four wicket haul against the UAE in an Asian Cup encounter that Sri Lanka won by 14 runs.
Malinga has said he is on his last legs and might even consider announcing his retirement from T20Is.
He said he has been playing for 12 years in the national team, and is now 32 years old.
Malinga said if he suffers an injury at present it’s difficult to find rest adding his career would come to an end if he considers a year’s recovery period.
He however said he wants to play as long as possible, and at his best.
