A stunning late collapse from Bangladesh saw hosts India clinch victory in their ICC World Twenty20 clash on Wednesday by a one-run margin.
The home side were restricted with the bat on a difficult wicket by their opponents after being put in, posting just 146 for seven. Bangladesh chased well and needed just two from the final three balls for a famous triumph. But two wickets and then a dramatic run out finished the innings, leaving them one run short on 145 for nine.
Earlier in the day, England overcame an early scare against Afghanistan to get their campaign back on track and move level on points with the West Indies in Group 1 of the Super 10s.
At one point, England were 50 for five, but a calming 41 from Moeen Ali saw them reach 142 for seven, and a strong bowling performance ensured their opponents' chase was unsuccessful as they managed 127 for nine.
