Team England restricts SL to 91/8 during the first innings after the grand 498/9 with the aid of Moeen Ali who scored 155.

Performing well Chris Woakes scored 3 for 9 and Broad secured 3/35, while Anderson took two wickets shaming team SL.

It was a different Sri Lanka fielding side which emerged for the second day's play after their four outstanding grabs on Friday.

In the fourth over, Moeen was given a life on 36 when Dimuth Karunaratne could not hold a chance at the finer of the two gullies.

With Moeen Ali unbeaten on 155, making it only his second century in international test cricket, England thrived.
