Today is the third day of the test match between Sri Lanka and tourist Australia.
Sri Lankan bowling squad could limit tourist Australian team to 203 in the first inning played at Pallekele.
Rangana Herath and Lakshan Sandaken got four wickets each while Nuwan Kulasekara secured two wickets including David Warner who went back to pavilion with no score.
Lakshan Sandaken stole the lime light of the inning when his skill took him to a record in his maiden international cricket appearance.
With the four wickets taken by Sandaken, he broke the record of the most wickets taken by a left arm spinner.
Lighting hope for Sri Lankan cricket, Sandaken broke the record set by Australian bowler Lesley Smith in 1935 by taking four wickets for 64 in a match against England.
However, Sri Lanka could only score 117 for the first inning.
