Today is the third day of the test match between Sri Lanka and tourist Australia at Pallekale international stadium.

Lions have scored 116 for four wickets when the second inning match was paused for lunch.

Sri Lankan bowling squad could limit tourist Australian team to 203 in the first inning played at Pallekele.

Rangana Herath and Lakshan Sandaken got four wickets each while Nuwan Kulasekara secured two wickets including David Warner who went back to pavilion with no score.

Lakshan Sandaken stole the lime light of the inning when his skill took him to a record in his maiden international cricket appearance.

With the four wickets taken by Sandaken, he broke the record of the most wickets taken by a left hand bowler.
