Angelo Mathews won the toss and Sri Lanka elected to bat first in the second ODI against Australia at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The Lankans amassed 288 runs in 48.5 overs and Kusal Mendis top scored with 69 runs.

Captain Anjelo Mathews scored 57, Kusal Perera batted brilliantly for his 54 while Dinesh Chandimal chipped in with 48 runs.

Mitchel Stac, James Faukner and Adam Zampa picked up 3 wickets each.
