Darren Bravo axing leaves West Indies distracted in Zimbabwe
Batsman Darren Bravo has been dropped from the West Indies squad in Zimbabwe for a triangular one-day global series because of "unacceptable behaviour", the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) said on Saturday. "Big idiot @davec51", he tweeted.
In an interview to a Caribbean television network SportsMax TV, Cameron said, "It is explicit that if your averages are not above a certain level it tells you what contracts you get".
Pybus urged Bravo to acknowledge on Twitter the "impropriety" of his remark and stressed the batsman should not use social media sites in a manner that could embarrass the WICB or its officials, or bring the game into disrepute.
Bravo was part of the West Indies 50- over team in Zimbabwe to compete in a Tri-Nation series involving West Indies, Sri Lanka and hosts Zimbabwe.
Bravo responded angrily on Twitter, writing: "You hav been failing 4 d last 4yrs".
