Sri Lankan team is currently plagued with viral sickness, latest in the entrant of many is middle order batsman Kusal Mendis.

As per reports, Mendis too is suffering from influenza that has already ruled Lasith Malinga out of the 2nd ODI.

Mendis is the third player to fall prey to influenza after Malinga and Lakshan Sandakan, who missed the first ODI.

Sri Lankan selectors have decided to call-in Suranga Lakmal and Chamara Kapugedara in replacements.

Sri Lanka have dropped Sadeera Samarawickrama and replaced him with the more experienced Kapugedara.

Sri Lanka will play their second ODI against Zimbabwe today at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
