Kumar Sangakkara is now playing his last first-class match representing Surrey. The match is played against Lancashire at Manchester.

However, Kumar was able to score only 14 runs in the first innings.

Sangakkara has totaled 1442 runs in 14 innings with an average of 110.92 for Surrey this year.

Sangakkara has so far played for Surrey in three seasons and as a tribute, he has been offered lifetime membership by the county.

Addressing an event, which was held to hand over the lifetime membership to him, Sangakkara said when he had told his friend Mahela Jayawardene about his plan to play for Surrey, Mahela had asked him whether he's mad.

However, Sangakkara said his decision to play for Surrey was one of his best decisions in his career.
