Sri Lanka reached 96 for the loss of one wicket during the 1st session on day one of their historic D/N Test against Pakistan in Dubai.

Dimuth Karunaratne was 52 not out, his 14th Test fifty.

Debutant Sadeera Samarawickrama was 14 not out.

Kaushal Silva made27 and he added 63 runs for the 1st wicket with Karunaratne.

These are the most runs scored in the session, so far this series.

Sri Lanka leads the 2-match series 1 nil.
