Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara hit centuries and skipper Virat Kohli hit an unbeaten half-century frustrating Sri Lanka on day 2 of 2nd Test at Nagpur today (25).

At stumps, India was on 312 for 2.

Vijay made 128 and he added 209 runs for the 2nd wicket with Pujara who remained unbeaten on 121.

With this double hundred partnership, Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara have now become the second-most prolific second-wicket pair for India.

After the departure of Vijay, Kohli (54 not out) and Pujara added 96 runs for the 3rd wicket.

Yesterday, Sri Lanka made 205 runs in their first innings.
