Today is the second day of 3rd and final Test between Sri Lanka and India being played at Delhi.

India declared their first innings at 536 for 7.

Skipper Virat Kohli made 243, his 6th double century in Tests. He scored all those double tons as captain.

With that, he surpassed the previous record held by West Indies' Brian Lara who had scored 5 double centuries as captain.

Today' score was Kohli's highest score in Tests. 

Murali Vijay scored 155.

Lakshan Sandakan bagged 4 wickets in bowling for Sri Lanka.

In reply, Sri Lanka lost their first wicket, that of Dimuth Karunaratne off the first ball of the innings for naught.

The bowler was Mohammed Shami.
