Sri Lanka’s fixture for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 has been accounted and the 1996 world champions play their nine league matches in five cities.
 
The 10-team tournament, to be played on a single-league format with the top four progressing to the semi-finals, will run from 30th of May to 14th of July across 11 venues in England and Wales.
 
Sri Lanka will face-off New Zealand in their opening match on 1st of June in Cardiff, and they will take on Afghanistan at the same venue 3 days later.
 
Sri Lanka has won 35 matches and losing the same number of matches in the World Cup matches.
 
One game was tied and 2 other matches ended in no-results.
 
Apart from winning the 1996 tournament, Sri Lanka has featured in the finals of the 2007 and 2011 events.
