Al Jazeera has reported an incident of match-fixing involving 2 Sri Lankan players during a T20 series held in the UAE.

The players were ex-national players, Jeewantha Kulatunga and Dilhara Lokuhettige.

The website reported that the 2 players conspire to fix matches with an Indian bookie named Robin Morris.

Al Jazeera yesterday (May 26) revealed that Galle curator Tharanga Indika and ex-first class player Tharindu Mendis had also links to match-fixing.

The Al Jazeera reporter had secretly recorded the conversations on fixing.
