Shane Dowrich and Skipper Jason Holder added an unbeaten 79 runs for the sixth wicket and helped West Indies reach 132 for 5 at stumps on first day's play of third and final Test with Sri Lanka at Bridgetown.
 
This is the inaugural day-night Test between Sri Lanka and the Windies.
 
Sri Lankan pace bowlers led by skipper Suranga Lakmal restricted the Windies to 53 for 5 before Dowrich and Holder rescuing the home side.
 
At stumps, Dowrich was on not out 60 while Holder was on 33.
 
In bowling, Lakmal and Kasun Rajitha bagged 2 wickets each.
