Sri Lanka skipper Angelo Mathews says it was disappointed to see that the side got out in just 34 overs in the first One-Day International against South Africa today.

After Sri Lanka posted a below-par 193 all out, the visitors secured victory by 5 wickets.

They reached the target off just 31 overs. JP Duminy made 53 not out off 32 balls.

Mathews added, "Disappointed, wasn't the best day but we have four more games to bounce back. The way Kusal and Thisara fought back was great. 250 plus would've helped us give a good fight, they bowled and batted well".
