Malinga wants Sri Lanka to be less indifferent to defeats

Lasith Malinga says that they have been told “not to” bother about their defeats, but just move on, and do well in the next game.

However he added that cricket cannot be played in that manner, and that they need to learn lessons from those defeats. He went on to say that there’s no point in forgetting those defeats.

He concluded that he has played four World Cups and he still has pressure for today’s match against Afghanistan, and the other players must feel that way too.

Sri Lanka will take on Afghanistan today at 3 PM at Cardiff.
