South African cricketer Hashim Amla announced his retirement from international cricket after 15 years.

However, he will continue to participate in inter-club level competitions.

He has scored 9,282 runs in 215 innings in 124 Tests and scored 8,113 runs in ODIs. He has scored the most number of ODI centuries (27 centuries) for South Africa in One day internationals.

Hashim Amla's last international match was against Sri Lanka at the World Cup.

Amla scored an unbeaten 80 runs in South Africa's nine-wicket win over Sri Lanka.
