Sachin Tendulkar said he felt "very humbled" after the Mumbai Cricket Association yesterday, formally renamed the Kandivili ground as the Sachin Tendulkar Gym-khana Club.

The 40-year-old who will be playing his 200th and last Test match in Mumbai from November 14 already has a stand named after him at the famous Wankhede Stadium.

In a high-profile ceremony attended by MCA president Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, Tendulkar, was dressed in Team India's navy blue T shirt and jeans. Tendulkar thanked the media and officials for making his farewell a "splendid one.
