SL declare on 428 after Mathews, Dilruwan both out in their 90's
Angelo Mathews and All Rounder Dilruwan Perera slowly guided Sri Lanka towards a commanding position in the 3rd and final test against Pakistan and are looking for their first away series win since 1990 except Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka commenced day 2 on 220 for the loss of 5 wickets with Angelo Mathews and Prassana Jayawardana occupying the crease.
Pakistan bowlers managed to get an early breakthrough with the dismissal of Prasanna Jayawardana for 35 runs.
Mathews once again was out in the 90’s as he was dismissed for 91 after a fighting knock on a turning pitch.
Dilruwan Perera who was brought in as a batted with great patience for 247 deliveries but missed out on a well deserved century as he was out for 95.
Sri Lanka declared on 428 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
