Bangladesh post highest ODI score against Pakistan
Bangladesh scored 326 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in after winning the toss and choosing to bat in their Asia Cup fixture against Pakistan being played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, in Mirpur today.
The mammoth total, which is Bangladesh’s highest One Day International score, was constructed around Anamul Haque’s 132 ball 100 and the finishing touches were added by skipper Mushfiqur Rahim who scored a blistering 51 in 33 balls and 44 run cameo by the returning Shakib Al Hassan in 16 balls.
In addition Imrul Kayes and Mominul Haque scored 59 and 51 respectively.
For Pakistan, Saeed Ajmal picked up 2 for 61 in his 10 overs and the other Bangladeshi wicket to fall was picked up by Mohammad Talha who finished with figures of 1 for 68 in 7 overs.
