Sri lanka won yet another nail biter as they beat South Africa by 5 runs in the T 20 world cup match played in Chithagong.
Sri Lankans after winning the toss elected to bat first against South Africa in the 14th match of the World T 20 and amassed 165 runs for the loss 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Meanwhile, New Zealand was declared winners by nine runs against England via the Duckworth-Lewis method after rain intervened in the World T20 Group One match in Chittagong yesterday.
Chasing 173 to win, New Zealand was 52-1 after 5.2 overs when heavy rain followed a series of thunderclaps at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium.
New Zealand needed 43 in 5.2 overs under the D/L mathod, which deals with rain-affected matches.
