Hobart Hurricanes beat Brabados while Kings XI beat Cape Cobras at CL T20.
Hobart Hurricanes reached the semi-finals of the Champions League T20 after beating Brabados Tridents by 6 wickets in a group league encounter in Mohali yesterday.
Batting first, Tridents took 113 in 19.4 overs, and Hurricanes chased the target in 18.2 overs.
Meanwhile, a clinical Kings XI Punjab steam-rolled Cape Cobras by 7 wickets for their 4th win in a row, as they ended their Group B engagements with a flourish in the Champions League T20 tournament yesterday.
Kings XI Punjab who won the toss, shot out the South African side for a mere 135 in 18.3 overs and then overhauled the target without any fuss with 11 balls to spare.
With this win, Punjab, who have already qualified for the semi-finals, have finished on top of Group B with 16 points and will enter the knockout stage unbeaten.
