Mahinda Rajapaksa says NPP cannot come to power

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that the National People's Force (NPP) will never come to power in this country.

In an interview with Hiru News, Rajapaksa said that people will not be misled by groups disguising themselves, referring to the NPP. He further added that despite the NPP establishing offices around the country, they will not win the election.

Rajapaksa asserted that the NPP cannot secure victory solely through votes cast from these offices. He also commented on a perceived close relationship between Ranil Wickremesinghe and Anura Kumara Dissanayake, criticizing Wickremesinghe's ability to govern.
