Different views were expressed on the removal of Mohan Peries from the post of Chief Justice at several media conferences held this morning.

NFF politburo member Piyasiri Wijenayake said in a media conference organized by his party in Colombo this morning that the rule of law has been collapsed as Mohan Peries was not removed legally.

Meanwhile addressing another media conference New Left Front leader Wickramabahu Karunarathna said that history would decide whether the removal of Peries is right or wrong.
