Issue of Nurses council - President reveals

President Maithripala Sirisena disclosed the reason why it was impossible to implement the Nursing Council during the time he was Health Minister.

The President did so while participating at a special conference of Government nursing officers at the Maharagama Youth Services auditorium yesterday.

Addressing the conference, Power and Energy Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka said that India too experienced the impact of Sri Lanka’s political change.
