One person was killed and another two were injured in a clash which took place at a funeral in the Atampitiya area in Welimada yesterday.

Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana stated that incident occurred at around 9.30 last night.

The clash occurred due to a personal dispute while the deceased person is a 53 year old resident of the same area.

According to Police media spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana, 4 persons have been arrested in connection with the incident.
