24,000 Kg's of ill-suited dates for consumption seized

24%2C000+Kg%27s+of+ill-suited+dates+for+consumption+seized

The consumer affairs authority has recovered 24 thousand kilos of dates not suitable for human consumption from a house in Kalaniya- Biyagama area.

The raid was carried by the Consumer affairs authority following a tip off received by HIRU TV, CIA team.

At the time of the raid the dates have been prepared for distribution.
