Ready to accept the government any time - a statement by the SLFP

SLFP National Organizer MP Susil Premajayantha states that they are ready to accept the government any time.

While attending a ceremony held in Colombo today, MP Susil Premajayantha stated that all coalition parties of the alliance will contest together, win the election and establish a government.

He added that they were with former party leader Mahinda Rajapaksa until the last moment of his party leadership.

MP Premajayantha also stated that if the Prime Minister dissolves the parliament on the 23rd of April, the party will be ready by the 23rd.

While attending the same ceremony, SLFP General Secretary MP Anura Priyadarshana Yapa explained his views regarding the defeat of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

MP Priyadarshana Yapa stated that a party should not be biased by race or religion and should treat all factions equally, which in turn will make everyone follow the party.

He also stated that during the last election, there were 1million new votes comprised of facebook savvy youth, who thought that their party was behind the times and these factors have led to their defeat.
