"Don't stop previous regime projects" - Opp. Leader

The National Medicine Regulatory Authority Bill which was tabled in Parliament was passed with amendments with a majority of 67 votes.

A total of 68 MPs voted in favour of the bill while only independent MP Ajith Kumara voted against.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Nimal Siripala De Silva presenting an adjournment debate stated that work on projects commenced during the previous government should be continued.
