FSP vehicle attacked; suspect arrested

Frontline Socialist Party states that their propaganda vehicle and 3 of its passengers were attacked by a group of persons yesterday.

A rally of the party was scheduled to be held in Rajanganaya, Anuradhapura today.

Frontline Socialist Party’s Propaganda Secretary Pubudu Jayagoda told our news team that no one has been arrested thus far in connection with the assault.

Police media spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that a person under the influence of alcohol has attacked and set fire to the propaganda vehicle in Rajanganaya area.

He added that the suspect has been arrested by now and no political party was involved in the incident.
