Colombo High Court Judge Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne has granted permission for Ven. Uduwe Dhammaloka Thera to go abroad.

He was seeking permission to visit England to participate in a Dhamma sermon that will be held on September 3 to 7.

His passport was impounded by court as part of indictment filed against him over an offence of possession of an elephant without a license.
