Airline Pilots’ Guild of Sri Lanka said pilots attached to the SriLankan Airlines will start a work-to-rule campaign at midnight today.
The trade union action has been declared against the breathalyzer test introduced for pilots.
A spokesman of the Guild said that flight schedules will be disrupted due to the trade union action tomorrow.
A Colombo bound Sri Lanka Airline flight was severely delayed in Frankfurt on August 19th after a pilot was found to be under influence.
Sri Lankan Airline management interdicted the accused pilot after he was subjected to a breathalyzer test, and found to be intoxicated.
