India hoped to sign ETCA agreement- Indian Commerce Minister

Visiting Indian Minster of Commerce Nirmala Sitharamana said yesterday, India looked forward to signing the Economic and Technology Cooperation Agreement and that negotiations had been carried out by both sides with ease and without any pressure on timelines.

The leaders expressed satisfaction on the progress of the proposed Agreement between the two countries.

It was noted that the Second Round of negotiations for ETCA is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on September 29-30, this year.

The leaders also discussed several other issues relating to bilateral trade and investment.
