Dry+weather+causing+a+change+in+the+wild+elephant+movement+

The Wildlife Department states that the movement of wild elephants has changed due to the prevailing dry weather.

Wildlife Department’s Director General W.S.V. Pathirathna said that residents living close to those wild elephant habitats should be vigilant.

Meanwhile, animals living in wildlife sanctuaries have also been affected by dry weather.

However, the Director General said that his department has started to supply water to small lakes built inside the forests.
