Police request the support of the public in order to identify an individual who was killed after he was hit by a train.

The individual was hit by a train travelling from Matara to Colombo Fort.

The deceased is between the ages of 55-60 and was dressed in a Blue sarong and white shirt.

The body has been placed at the mortuary of the Balapitiya general hospital
