Residents in Arippu area, Mannar has assaulted four Navy officials.

Police said the officials were raiding for a stock of Kerala Ganja yesterday when they were attacked.

One of the Navy officials was admitted to the Mannar hospital.

Police has launched an investigation into the incident.
