A warning from lottery sales agents – Sales decreases by 50 per cent

The union for  the all Lanka Lottery Sales Agents’ have decided to re-launch a trade union action against the price increase of a lottery ticket to 30 rupees and the non-increase of the commission given for sales agents.

Union’s General Secretary B. S. S. Madarasinghe told our news team that with the increase lottery sales had decreased by 50 per cent.

Lottery sales agents boycotted lottery sales for five days in protest against the increase of lottery price and the non-increasing of the commission.
