Sarath Kumara Gunaratne re-remanded

Former deputy minister Sarath Kumara Gunaratne was further remanded till 13th this month by the Colombo Chief Magistrate.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Lal Bandara gave the order after he was produced before Courts.

Gunarathna was arrested by the CID when he reported to police on January 2nd to record a statement with regard to the misappropriation of 11.2 million rupees from the Negombo Lagoon Development Scheme.
