A Gvt. cannot rule by repressing leaders - Mahinda Rajapaksa

The government cannot rule a country where leaders are repressed, former President MP Mahinda Rajapaksa said.

He said this at a special conference organized by the National Freedom Front in Colombo yesterday.

Meanwhile, a special statement by NFF leader Wimal Weerawansa, who is currently in remand, was read by MP Jayantha Samaraweera at the event.
