Sharif calls for Pak-SL collaboration to achieve SAARC objectives

Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says that Pakistan wishes to see the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation as a vibrant regional organization.

He made this statement at a meeting with his Sri Lankan counterpart, Ranil Wickremesinghe on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Sri Lanka could collaborate for the achievement of objectives of SAARC, and that it is their desire to promote good relations with the countries of their region, in order to benefit from the fruits of regional integration.
