Signs of finger print law getting amended

The government is planning to amend the Prevention of Crime Ordinance to be able to get the fingerprints of all those accused of crime.

The reason behind this is because some new crimes have been added to the list.

Also, the new amendments may also include when a person who has a suspended sentence on a crime has been found guilty previously of a different crime or crimes, for the suspect to be placed under police supervision.
