New control price on local rice to take effect from today

The Ministry of Industries and Trade said that new control prices on local and imported rice is now in effect.

Accordingly the price of a Kilo of imported Nadu rice would be 72 Rupees, while the price of a Kilo of local Nadu stands at 80 Rupees.

Imported Kakulu rice stands at 70 Rupees per Kilo while the local variety stands at 78 Rupees.

Keeri Samba and other imported Samba apart from the Suduru variety would be 80 Rupees while the price of a Kilo of the Local variety would be 90 Rupees.
