CAA takes legal action against 52 shops selling rice over the controlled price

CAA+takes+legal+action+against+52+shops+selling+rice+over+the+controlled+price

Consumer Affairs Authority launched island wide raids yesterday, to catch shopkeepers and venders selling rice over the controlled price.

Legal action was taken against 52 shops following the raids in a total of 137, across the island.

Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen said that most of these shops were from Colombo district.
