Case against Namal concluded

The case before the Supreme Court against Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa accused of insulting the Bribery Commission has been concluded.

The case was filed charging that the MP on several occasions did not appear before the Bribery Commission after being notified and thereby caused insult to the Commission.

A three member bench headed by Justice K Sripawan decided to end the case due to the MP appearing before the Bribery Commission subsequently.
