Heated argument in Parliament on NFF request to remain independent

The NNF‘s request to withdraw from the UPFA and remain independent in parliament led to heated arguments in the house today.

NFF leader MP Wimal Weerawansa enquired from the speaker of his stance regarding the request made by his party last April.

Meanwhile, political party leaders and speaker Karu Jayasuriya will meet this afternoon to further discuss the request made by the NFF.
