US happy with Sri Lanka’s reconciliation and economic policies

The visiting US Congress Delegation has appreciated Sri Lanka’s reconciliation model, programme to re-establish democracy and economic policies.

This was during a discussion held with President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidents House yesterday.

Chairman of Judicial Affairs of the Congress Bob Goodley had also participated in the discussion.

President Sirisena had told the delegation that his Government’s objective was to strengthen cordial relations with all countries in order to speed up economic advancement.
